Clarissa Smith

Clarissa Smith is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Oregon and is nationally board certified (NCCAOM) in Acupuncture. A 1997 graduate of Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine, she is the founder and owner of Jade Acupuncture.

Clarissa has a rich background in herbal medicine. She has studied clinical herbalism (both western and Chinese), as well as wild harvesting of medicinal plants and pharmacology. Her main interest lies in treating internal conditions with Acupuncture, herbal medicine, and nutrition.

A passionate advocate of natural medicine, Clarissa strives to educate her patients to take care of their health in a fun and practical way. She has also been a student of various nutrition philosophies for the past 35 years and incorporates nutritional wisdom into her work with patients.
